Low Maintenance Garden

The Client

The 40 something Director of a local department store, having moved with his family into a brand new property in Little Canfield, between the Essex towns of Dunmow & Takeley.

The Challenge 

​

The garden needed areas for dining & chilling out, to be low-maintenance, use modern materials & have exotic, “over-the-top”, but easy-care plants & above all to be FUN.

 

The Solution

​

Using bright, contemporary horizontal trellising on all boundaries lifts the space, keeps the eye in the garden & provides a great foil for the exotic planting.

Synthetic grass, Rubadeck around the hot-tub & raised planters topped with cobbles offer long lasting, safe & low maintenance solutions.

A self-contained stainless steel water wall sits opposite the main window.
